Restoring Control, Creating Room to Grow

Neuro-Paws.

Overview.

The biggest issue Neuro-Paws was facing was technical. Their website was built on Google Sites, their domain wouldn’t connect properly, and their domain and email information were split between different providers. The frustration had stalled the project, and with so much technical jargon involved, figuring out how to fix it felt impossible for them. When I met with the team, the problem was clear, and I immediately began reviewing what needed to be done.

As we discussed their future plans, I also learned that they hoped to grow the website once the business became more of a focus. I offered to consolidate these disconnected pieces on their behalf, not only to resolve the immediate issues and make things easier for their team, but to put the right foundation in place for future growth when they were ready to expand.

The Process.

I began by troubleshooting the immediate issue, but as I dug deeper and saw how much effort it would take to resolve everything using their existing accounts, I realized I could use that same time more effectively. Rather than spending hours untangling their current setup, I could start fresh by moving the site to a different host and rebuild what they had already created on Google Sites on a better platform that would give them a stronger foundation for future growth.

Neuro-Paws didn’t need a redesign. They simply needed their basic information to be accessible at their domain, along with an improved set up that would allow them to easily expand and manage when they were ready. The rebuild was quick and straightforward, only making a few small formatting improvements to make the one-page site more engaging. I added simple interactive elements and hyperlinks so visitors could call or send an email with a single click.

The Result

The result was the same website the Neuro-Paws team had already created, with a few thoughtful tweaks and improvements, now properly connected to the neuro-paws.com domain and hosted on a platform that gives them more flexibility moving forward.

They got a reliable home for the information they needed today, along with a foundation that can easily support future updates, additional pages, and growth as the business evolves.

Looking to the Future

Perhaps the best result was something that had nothing to do with the website itself. Once the technical frustration was out of the way, the team’s excitement for Neuro-Paws came back. What had started to feel like a frustrating side project became something they could look forward to growing when the time was right.
